Viewpoints: My {Beaver Lake} View

I joined a landscape blog circle a couple months ago.  I haven’t been able to participate until now since I was waiting for my website and blog to launch.  But now that it has, I am so excited to be able to bring you my first contribution to this circle!  I only hope I can measure up.  I’ve seen the work of the ladies I’m participating with and well, let’s just say you’ve got some pretty nice eye candy from their neck of the woods to look at as you continue around the circle.

My viewpoint for this month’s circle is Beaver Lake.  This lake is nearby and I pass by it on my way to town quite frequently.  What I love the most is that depending on the vantage point, the scene can look quite different – almost as if you are not at the same lake.  It’s beautiful all year round, from the spring when the trees and flowers start to bloom, to the summer when sun revelers bathe on the grassy field overlooking the lake, to the fall where the colors here are just amazing anyway, to the winter where scenes like shown below are just gorgeous!

Fog brings another dimension to the look on the lake.

But my favorite time of all is sunrise (or sunset!)

No matter when I go, there’s always something interesting to see.

It doesn’t hurt that there is a Starbucks nearby when I’m done taking pictures. 😉

I hope you’ve enjoyed my viewpoint of Beaver Lake.  Now continue the circle to view Bianca Klein’s viewpoint !
